Sincerity - a tale

One day, a soldier named Alex went to the library to borrow a book. On the first page of the book, there was handwriting: " My name is Rebecca. I am all alone and need you as my friend. Don't bother to send me a piece of letter." The Rebecca wrote her address under her message. Alex was interesting, and then send her a letter, told her that he would like to befriend with her.

He got her reply few days after that. Then, they befriend each other and never miss to reply the letter that they received. Those time were the time they realized that they fell for each other. They were enjoying their relationship though they never met until the day Alex was called for war.

Alex, did not want to left Rebecca alone, made a promise with her, " I'll be back. Wait for me at the time when war is ended, at terminal, and bring with you a rose. I'll bring mine too, so that we can recognise each other, and on that time, I want you to meet my parents, right after you accept my proposal. " So then, he went for war.

After a period of time, war was ended, and it was the time for the soldier's promise. Alex searched for the girl he thought all the days, and found there was a very fat girl, with very dark skin, without one leg and one arm, sitting on a wheelchair, was holding a rose. He went quickly to her, kneel down to the girl and said,

"Rebecca, I've been missing you all this time. I know you will say yes to my proposal, for I know that you love me. Now, please follow me to meet my parents, and right after then, we will get marry."

The girl smiled happily. She knew that the man was honest in his love. She had no doubt anymore to tell the truth,

" No wonder there is a very beautiful girl waits for you until now. I am Rebecca's friend. The real one that you love is waiting with your parents at restaurant, which means she already accept your proposal, if you willing to come to me and said out you promise."
